Hi folks!

I’ve just returned from a week long tour through PA and NY. A little Sideshow, a little Music, and even a little relaxation!

August is here now, and I’m surprised at how fast it’s disappearing already! There are several exciting shows coming up this month, including the Cheeky Monkey Tiki Party at the Palace of Wonders. Everyone loves Tiki parties *especially you Brady’s. Throw in some Cheeky Monkeys and you know it’s going to be outrageous! Plus we will be having as a special guest my ~favorite~ tiki goddess herself, L’il Dutch!

Last month I did two shows at the Comedy Zone in Crystal City, VA. This is a great venue, and a new and interesting challenge. This is not the usual drunken bar/festival crowd. These were civilized human beings, who like watching variety acts. while eating dinner. All those things my mom always said not to do at the dinner table came flooding back. “don’t stick things in your nose at the dinner table” “don’t swallow more than you can chew” etc. that kind of rules out Blockhead and Balloonswallow. and even though mom never said anything about walking on broken glass while at the dinner table, my past experience w/ audience members losing it hearing the glass break beneath my feet told me it might not be a good idea.

But the straitjacket, however, seemed like a ~perfect~ choice. :-)

other gigs this month:

Comedy Zone – Saturday, August 15th

CMSS Tiki Party @ the Palace – Friday, August 21st

Tilted Torch @ the Palace – Friday, August 28th

Varietease in Richmond VA – Saturday, August 29th

In other news: a few Mab/Wedji sightings!

* You can find a picture of Wedji TuCheeks in the latest Daily Crock, the Faerie’s Magazine.

* you can hear my interview on Wayne Kaiser’s Ballycast, The Podcast of the Carnival, Sideshow and Burlesque

* you can find me at the NY Ren Faire, Playing drums with Karpathos

* and I even made it out to the 98 rock morning show. it was a miracle that I was up that early, so I have no idea what I said. if you were one of the folks who were luck enough to catch it, drop me a line to let me know how I did!

Next month already has tons of great plans! not the least of which is the Carnival of 5 Fires in Richmond VA.
